Fondazione Milano per Expo 2015 is a member of the International Cooperation Commission of the Confederation of Italian Industries. Our contribution was based on the awareness that one way to alleviate poverty is through investments and creation of jobs, and was aimed at helping the private sector to become an active player in development cooperation. At the international level, companies are perceived as strategic partners able to establish well-founded collaborations with local partners and with other players committed to world social and economic development.
